It just occurred to me that I've never officially introduced the characters from my old "Dexter" cartoons, so here they are:

So I must ask: is Basil, the name, inspired by Fawlty Towers? Watery Fowls?

Yep. The names of both Basil and Sibyl were the result of my love for Fawlty Towers (Warty Towels).
For the record, Dexter's name was taken from a shoebox, and I don't remember where I got Talia's name.
