Greg Hughes is right:
"This is the right time to stop what you normally do, get out of your little digital world that you assume is all-defining and all-encompassing (it’s not, really) and come back to reality...Very real people are experiencing very real pain, and you can do your part to help them recover."Until the end of the month, everything I earn from TopStyle and FeedDemon will be donated to the International Red Cross to help those affected by this disaster.
Update: Looking for a way to help? The Command Post has a list of ways to donate. Or how about pledging your Google AdSense revenue?
As soon as I saw ya post, I dumped my pirated version of Feeddemon (sorry?) and bought it. I love Feeddemon and I'd been meaning to buy it and I figured that this would be the best time. Thank you.

Good for you. I was just installing a second copy of FeedDemon on my home PC (as allowed by your licence deal). However, I'm now buying another copy instead.

A sad comment but ... more than 25000 deaths confirmed now (17:00 GMT+1) and some rumours said that this number could grow up to 35-45000.
A crazy tsunami :(

Great idea Nick
I was kinda wavering about buying the product but this has convinced me and I'm signing up right now

Very nice indeed Nick, we need more folks like you out there! :)

I can't think of any words to write. For some reason this post has really affected me personally. I have a lot of friends from India and a lot of them have familes who have been affected by this. I know they will be very greatful for the money.

Awesome. If I did not already own all your products I would buy them right now.

Nick,
My friend Tony and I have started a site (that should be up tonight) called www.givetwice.org which will allow folks to have a chunk of their www.amazon.com purchases to towards the relief effort.
Why give it to Amazon.com alone if you can have at least part of it put towards the relief effort?

Nick,
By earnings, do you mean this week's revenues or profits?
Posted by: Christopher Baus | Monday, December 27, 2004 at 07:28 PM
Christopher, I mean 100% of my revenues, not just profits.
Posted by: Nick Bradbury | Monday, December 27, 2004 at 07:35 PM
Wow. Maybe this would be a good time to buy TopStyle. Too bad I can't write it off. ; )
Nice gesture Nick.

I already own Topstyle and Feeddemon, but I've made a donation of the value of both to the Canadian Red Cross for the Asia Disaster. Thanks for doing this Nick. Hopefully it will inspire others to give to those who really need it.

Same story here. Been a fan of your products for years.
Your software shows how talented you are.
Your iMix shows how cool you are.
Your contributions show how big a heart you have.
I just ordered TopStyle Pro.

I have owned a copy of TopStyle in the past (regretfully it isn't available for my beloved Mac :( ). The software is something I've always promoted to friends and "newbies" as it simply gets the concept of web-design right.
From now on I'll be bigging up Mr Bradbury in a similar way, since his views and contributions seem equally spot on :)
Excellent and generous effort sir - I hope everyone has as much initiative as you over the coming weeks.

Great thing you're doing, Nick. In case the Red Cross Red Crescent site gets swamped, I'm maintaining a pretty comprehensive list of online donation sites at http://www.personal.psu.edu/map408/tsunami.htm - this includes most of the links on Command Post and others. Keep up the great work.

Hi,
I'm from Sri Lanka, one of the countries worst hit by this quake.
Thank you for your compassion and for helping us out.

Just registered FeedDemon.
I don't actually need it, but it seems a good way spend some money for the cause.

@Rijk. Lies. Everyone needs FeedDemon :)
