In response to my post about providing alternate content when embedding video in your feed, Glenn Slaven has created a WordPress plugin that automatically adds a <noembed> section for embedded content. Nice one, Glenn!

I am a fan of the Anarchy Media Player plugin (http://an-archos.com/anarchy-media-player). It uses the Prototype javascript library to turn links to Youtube, et al. into a video player on the client side. That is, your blog post or other content merely contains a basic href link but the javascript will find them and display an appropriate flash player for the content that link points to.
This means nice text links to the videos in RSS feeds, as well as anywhere else that content may get displayed outside of your full site.
